Glitter, Paper, and all things happy

Well after 10 plus hours of working on this sign..... it's complete. I love it!!!!! It really says Here's the party and cupcakes. Cosette has picked out her favorite designs. She likes the pink pom poms. It'll be soooo cute to have out on birthdays with jars of taffy, sprinkled cupcakes and festive fun wrapping paper. This stuff makes me smile. It was fun to make. Now I want to make Valentine's day banner. My mom made one too!!!

Orange Citrus Cordial

I've been real encouraged reading other crafty people's blogs lately. I attempted to sew a baby doll diaper. That didn't work. But the cooking things have come out well. I made a delicous veggie soup with rump roast. Baked blueberry muffins from scratch with a brown sugar and cinnamon topping. Cosette loves them. Plus we juiced lots of oranges and made a citrus cordial. The kids loved juicing the oranges. The smell is divine. They taste yummy too.

After having Christmas updo's I walked into Cosette's bedroom to find Emeline sitting in the baby doll high chair and Cosette doing her hair. Cosette said "My sister needs an updo"

Some Christmas pics. Here is Emeline looking like a snowman after Cosette decorated her. And she's the kind that doesn't melt. The kids are playing together so cute lately. Lots of fun make believe. They pretend to be dogs, hairdressers, mailmen. It's really fun seeing them grow up.

The kids' had an updo at Glitterbox on Christmas Eve. I just remembered the "incident that happened while we were there. Well Emeline has been potty trained for awhile now. She actually did it herself. She was ready for big girl panties. So on this particular night while at Glitterbox I took her into there restroom and the seat was cold so she didn't want to use it. She said she didn't need to go. So we go back into the store about 5 ft. and she pee pee's (fortunately we have play clothes on and not the pretty dresses we brought along. Well I had to buy some undies there at the store and they were $20 dollars. They have rhinestones on them. She's got the nicest pair of anyone in our whole family. They have to be hand washed. We all laughed at her that night running around in her million dollar undies. And she smiled the whole night..... I think she planned it. Here are some pics AFTER on our way to church and grandma's

What do you want for Christmas this year?
Well you both want the same things really. You guys are really into playing with baby dolls. Cosette wants a carrier so she can wear her baby doll around. Of course diapers for them, clothes, and a beauty chair to curl their hair (which they have none) but you want to pretend. Emeline wants All the same things, but when you ask her she will make sound effects and hand gestures to describe. Like a baby is a waaah noise and a point to the belly. Hair stuff is a scratch on your head. It's really cute. Cosette interpreted for you to Santa.
We go to look at lights in our neighborhood almost everynight. It's sooo cute how excited you get.

Happy Halloween

The girls dressed up as pink poodles. They liked being little doggies named Fifi. The make-up on the nose bothered them a little though. These pics are from the Las Sendas Halloween Party. Grandma and Karsten went with us. Emeline listened intently to the palm reader. Cosette liked decorating and eating the cookies. Grandma had fun painting pumkins. It was a wonderful special event. Happy trick-or-treating!!!
